I’m taking a week off and I’m turning The Red Electric over to you.
About 40 of you visit the site each day. Sometimes more (one day 90 visitors wandered through — I'd written about the Portland Timbers and the "Timbers" tag drew a crowd of fans); sometimes fewer (last week the count dropped to 22 for a couple days leading up to the long weekend.)
I hope you continue to visit during the next eight days while I’m "gone."

The "Timbers" tag - heh heh. (btw there's a playoff game Sunday Sept. 16)

Something I'd like see:
Select comments copied from the comments section and pasted in-line below the article they pertain to. Maybe they could be posted under a heading of: Readers Write, or some such.
I think if all comments (like this one) are included below the article, it would take away. I'm think of something that resembles letters to the editor.
Just a thought.
