The vet made this diagnosis without getting an x-ray, but after reading your post I am beginning to think he may have got it wrong - maybe it was a stroke too. Like Izzy, ours was a pampered pet; sherarely ventured out and was frightened of magpies - she'd run awa from them and she was terrified of the black Tomcat in the next house. She only ventured out to do her business'and never strayed more than 20 feet, so I became worried when she had not been seen for a few hours - I found her cowering paralysed under a tree not far from the back door. It couldn't have been an RTA as the vet suspected; my house is surrounded by high walls/gates, so she wouldn't have been able to get over them. I was so distressed I didn't think of this at the time. Can a cat be literally 'scared to death', is that possible? She was in great pain though, as she cried a lot and had lost control of her bowels too..<br />I suppose I just want to know what happened, it would make it easier to deal with.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36274513.post-74852012433584529602012-07-21T00:31:35.902-07:002012-07-21T00:31:35.902-07:00This is a lovely tribute.
